Olá!
My name is Fernando Gomes (b. 1993) and I am a photographer from São Paulo, Brasil, living in western Colorado, and working wherever the photograph will take me.
After spending my adolescence in Europe, I moved to New York where I would live, study, and work for the next decade, earning my BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts.
In New York, I created a body of street photography work depicting life in the city, seeking moments of stillness and poetry within the ever buzzing metropolis. catch a glimpse of it here.
For commissions, I love to work at the intersection of form, creativity, and human emotion. This manifests most explicitly as architectural, documentary, and portrait photography.
Alongside my wife, Hanna, I also run Onda, a wedding photography studio.
